What a great discovery. This reminds me very much of a European reataurant... the ambiance, music, international clientele. The food was excellent, prices were very fair for the delicious meal we were served, all in all... i am sure I will be back. Thanks to the staff for being so knowledgable, welcoming and professional. If you are vegatarian or vegan, try the vegetarian cous cous... huge portion served in a domed serving dish and truly enough to feed 3! The King David platter has a great selection of appitizers perfectly prepared and tasty! My chicken Pargiot dinner was something that I have never seen on a menu anywhere... seasoned and grilled chicken thighs... yes... i said thighs... juicy, tasty, tender... really loved this dish... served with green beans prepared as I have never had them before and finished every last one. Overall, excellent choice for a meal with a difference. I WILL be back for sure.

I really enjoyed the food and service here. I tried the falafel and salads combo appetizer and grilled chicken shish kabob with rice. The falafel were very crispy and the salads included the usual hummus/tehina, plus purple cabbage, sweet potato, corn, cole slaw and a beet salad. I thought the decor and furniture were a bit odd, but really loved the food. Very friendly staff too.

I was greeted in such a friendly way! The food is delicious and the portions huge. I had the miso glazed salmon and it was fantastic. I was treated to a taste of the salads and pita and the sweet potato salad was unusual and very tasty. They only serve Kosher wine but there are lots of choices. I really like how nicely I was served.

My wife and I found them here on Yelp and are very please we tried them out. Our waiter was very nice, the food tasted fresh and made with care. The menu selection is fantastic and the starters they bring out, i.e. the beets, oh man I could eat just that and be happy. Great experience, excellent food. What more would you want if you're going to sit down and have a peaceful meal?

We learned about Golda Restaurant (named after Golda Meir) through Restaurant.com . After reading the other Yelp reviews, we decided to give it a try, and boy, are we glad we did! The service was outstanding, and our server made us feel like family. When we read that our meal included "salads and pita bread", we expected a normal salad, but the "salads" consisted of several small bowls of different dishes, including beets, whitefish, pasta, cabbage and an amazingly-delicious sweet potato salad. I tried the shawarma (sliced poultry, which I'd heard about but never tried before), and it was very good, especially with the accompanying sauce. My wife had the cashew chicken, also very good. All in all, we're very happy we came.

A great place. The Shwarma is excellent. The staff is friendly. The place is CLEAN. Yes, it is a kosher restaurant but it is a great Mediterranean place. It is a little pricey for dinner but lunch is reasonable.

I got the pargiot steak (dark meat chicken) which was tasteless but cooked nicely. The side I ordered was rice, barely a half a cup was on that plate. You call that a side? Not to mention the rice was luke warm. The pargiot steak was also a tiny portion. My friend got a NYC strip steak. Tastes like salt and a tiny portion as well. Not worth the money.

Don't let the plain exterior of the building steer your away. The falafel is excellent! The inside of the restaurant is clean and neat. Lots of pictures of Golda Meir. Cute inside.

Overpriced... And not tasty.... Even though they changed ownership and now do business as king David very unimpressed

Wow, finally a great Israeli style kosher restaurant in central Palm Beach County. The food is exceptional, plentiful, tasty, authentic and reasonably priced. Fresh, fresh fresh were the Israeli salads. The schwarma, lamb, felafel, Israeli salad, chicken and even the corn dog was excellent. Can't wait to go back to try their fish and other entrees. Credit cards accepted. Open for lunch and dinner. Update - Cashew Chicken was extremely salty, dry and chew, chew, chew. Skip their rice sidedish. Grilled chicken breast was tasty but no sauce and dry also. The Beef Ribs appetiser is HUGE and very tasty. Chicken Wings were OK, but could have been spicier. Little pricey for dinner, but the $10 lunch gets you a small bowl of veggy appetiser, stuffed pita sandwich with fries and a drink.

The food including the shwarma was good however, the portions were skimpy. 15 french fries is not what I consider an order of fries. The burger should be called a mini burger. I guess I am used to Broward County where they really stuff the shwarma. The lighting was poor and a flashlight should be given to you along with the menu. The server had a bit of an attitude when taking our orders. We shall never return.
